MERLIN / Foxhound / Male / 5 to 7 Years / Rehoming Centre: Kenilworth

Likes and dislikes:

Merlin is a typical hound-always on the hunt for lovely smells. He enjoys his food and can sniff out a tasty morsel, from miles away. He loves a good run and walks lovely on a lead. He likes to play with his doggy chums, though is unsure what to do with toys. He likes to be always on the go, and is very much an energetic dog.

Type of home needed:

Merlin is a very active dog who needs a family who likes to be out and about and busy. He will be a rewarding dog for an energetic owner willing to put in some work. He is unkeen on some handling and does need a committed, experienced dog owner and an adult only home. Merlin could share his home with another dog providing he has lots of open space.

More about me:

Merlin is a super boy looking for a home to match his needs.

CHARLIE / Foxhound / Male / 6 to 12 Months / Rehoming Centre: Merseyside

Likes and dislikes:

Charlie is a very handsome Foxhound, a breed we don't see very often at Dogs Trust. He is very young and very active and is looking for a family that MUSt be willing to give him the time and exercise he needs. He is not a straightforward pet, he has no road sense and if allowed off lead he will often head for traffic. He requires a lot of activity though, plenty games and mental stimulation. Charlie is exceptionally friendly and gets along great with other dogs.

Type of home needed:

Some background knowledge of Charlie's breed would be ideal, but we would definitely advise reading up about Foxhounds before considering adoption. They are known for being noisy and his previous neighbours did complain about him. They are also very strong, as well as strong-willed, and Charlie has pulled over an adult before now! He can live with children over the age of 6 and gets along great with other dogs.
